Support the end-to-end financial close process and the accurate, timely preparation of financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and internal-control policies. The role works in a shared-services environment serving legal entities across hotel operations, property management, leasing, and restaurant businesses.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for multiple Hospitality Development Unit entities.
Draft consolidated and assigned-entity financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare and analyze trial balances and variance reports, contributing to management commentary.
Maintain and monitor selected accounts, including General Ledger account creation or deactivation, across entities and business segments.
Record General Ledger entries in accordance with IFRS and Philippine GAAP.
Process journal entries, reconcile accounts, and support integrations from Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, and other subledgers.
Analyze trends, variances, and possible discrepancies in financial data, and support General Ledger reviews and clean-up work.
Support the Controls Group framework, including monthly balance-sheet reconciliations.
Work with Internal Audit, EMO, FMO, and other enabler teams on regulatory and organizational compliance.
Help remediate control deficiencies identified by internal or external audits.
Coordinate with finance and operations teams across hotel, property, leasing, and restaurant businesses to align reporting and data integrity.
Contribute to standardization, automation, and continuous improvement across financial reporting and General Ledger functions.
Support ERP upgrades or implementations with attention to General Ledger controls and data mapping.
Maintain standard operating procedures and support training and knowledge transfer.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is a strong advantage.
Two to five years of progressive experience in financial reporting, general-ledger accounting, or audit.
Shared-services experience, preferably in hospitality, is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or local GAAP.
Proficiency with ERP systems such as NOAH, Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft platforms, plus advanced Excel skills.
Willingness to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig.
Strong command of IFRS and Philippine GAAP.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
